Brian Jesi-Scott Jones, born February 26, 1990 under a strong Piscean influence at Methodist hospital in Indianapolis Indiana and grew up in Danville IN. He is of Irish and native background though he wishes he knew more of his Tsalagi (Cherokee) and other native heritage. He is the son of Donna Sue and Roger Brian Jones, has two brothers, Brandon Michael and Dakota Nicholas as well as two sisters, Andreja and Kali. His spiritual beliefs can be simplified to this: "There is an underlying spiritual reality to which by a creative process of unconditional love, manifest all things. That essence, whether you call it the Eternal Buddha, Jehovah, Allah, The Tao, The Great or Holy Spirit, is unifying and nameless. Names are for our benefit and that being comes to us each in the most intimate and comfortable way for each of us. The material world is but a canvas and we are all diverse because that is the will of the artist". Though several family members are now on an active spiritual path, he was not born into an overly religious family and thus exposure to religious and spiritual concepts, from an early age, has been through self-exploration. That is, with the exception of his grandfather, Richard Eugene Parsons. Whom he would would have discussions about various topics such as reincarnation, the perception of space-time, theology, ethics, philosophy, and many other subjects. These discussions were never based on a particular viewpoint however, in fact many different possibilities would be discussed and viewpoints from various schools of thought would be looked at. The interesting thing was that despite the many differences, the conclusion would often be that each was just one aspct or viewpoint of a relative whole. From an early age he has had an intrest in the Occult, that is, if one can call it an interest instead of an attraction. He became involved with Astrology which quickly led to other practices and studies. Spending much time among nature in contemplation, reflection and meditation, he always knew he'd follow a nature-centric path. Looking back, the archetypal structure of most occult studies, Hermetic influence, belief in duality and the sacredness of gender in all things meant that by the time he discovered (was pulled toward) Wicca, he found he was already practicing a good deal of it and the rest just seemed to make sense to him. |
