I first remember feeling "witchy" when I was about 7 years old but it was not until I met another witch when I was 13 that I realized the powers and different walk of my life was shared by others. Although I was raised in a Christian family most of us have otherworld powers, for lack of a better word, that we continue to cling to as a foundation of belief. I left the Christian fold many years ago when I found that it did not fit with the Rede in harming none. I found that throughout history standard organized religion had harmed many and I could not be a part of that. So I threw off the trappings of Christiandom and enbraced the inner me who is, and always will be, a witch.
The love of my life, my husband passed away for another realm in 2004 and so I have trod a solitary path since then. Fortunately, I have a wonderful 25 year old daughter that is the light of my life. I raised her in the Wiccan Way since she was small and so the powers we can harness are awesome. We try to do good with all of our work.
Two years ago I got tired of the corporate life and decided to go back to school to do what I have always wanted to do; be in the medical field. I will graduate with my degree in Health Science with an emphasis in Occupational Therapy May 2012 and hope to spend the rest of my life treating those people around the world that do not have sufficient health care.
I just returned from Ukraine where I did my Fieldwork with a humanitarian group from the USA, meeting many wonderful people that I now count as dear friends.  I look forward to making friends throughout the world.
I am truly grateful for this time in life when I can enjoy being a Crone.
