But I think today marks the official natural start of Autumn. Every year, I can feel the change before the actual date, and today is the day.  It's wonderfully gloomy out, I has pumpkin pie pop tarts, hot tea, and a cold. :p Feh, colds be damned, I've had this thing for over a week now! I'm sure work hasn't helped it any, but whatever.  My schedule has been getting crazier and crazier, and it's only going to get crazier still the closer the holidays come around.  On Wednesday, I get to go in @ 1 in the morning. woooooo. It's a love/hate thing as always.

So, my Absinthe Fairy costume is going to be amazing! I've already started working on it.  I bought the wings, which are the pic for this blog, green and black stripey tights, and fake neon green and black eyelashes.  As for the actual outfit, this is the fun part.  My mom found for me at wal mart, this black vinyl corset costume top thingy, so last night I went and got a basic cheapo costume black petticoat skirt thingy, and I'm going to edit the hell out of them both.  With the top, I'm replacing the black laces with neon green ones, and I'm editing the HELL out of the petticoat thingy. Under the first layer of black mesh, I'm going to sew in a piece of neon green cloth all the way around, and then cut it into points like a fairy skirt, and then the rest of the black ruffles and whatnot are currently being smeared in green glitter fabric paint.  I might do some glow in the dark stuff too, I dunno. The makeup is going to be...um...insane.  Basically, I'm making a concoction out of glitter gel, glow in the dark cream makeup, and green cream makeup, and then just pretty much covering myself with it. Then I've got the fake eyelashes, and some jewels and stuff and green lipstick.  I dunno what I'm going to do about my hair, but I did see these neon green curly pigtail inserts that I might get.  oh, and green glowsticks galore! And something to do with Absinthe of course, but I dunno what yet.

....all of this, and I don't even know if I'm going to have plans for Halloween or not. :p I just love costumes! Maybe I'll try and go to Sabbat somehow, I dunno.  Srsly, where the HELL did my social life go?!? :p Oh right, work. :p
