Today's my mister's birthday! Happy Imbolc also!

So, I was supposed to go down to Lansing, Mi today to swear in and sign my contract for the National Guard...cuz last week I went thrugh MEPS testing and aced everything (except my heartbeat which was uber high due to how pumped I was), sent in my pulse form from the school doctor monday vie fax...and notoriously the government likes to take its time with paperwork. My recruiter had his fingers crossed, because the form saying my pulse readings only needs a two second glance and a stamp to approve and they had four days to do that...but no. I honestly don't really blame them, after seeing how busy they are, starting 5 a.m. til nine p.m., hundreds of young people go through there every weekday so that's ALOT of paperwork getting shuffled around and that's alot of offices things pass through.

Being in Lansing for MEPS last week was a fascinating experience. I had a blast and it was scary. I stayed at the hotel after taking the psychology test. Friday morning got my blood drawn, peed in a cup, had my eyesight and hearing evaluated, did exercises in my underwear, answered alot of personal questions, and some doctors got to measure my scars and in general see me naked. The hotel I got to stay at was fancy, the food was OK and free, and the people I got to meet were uber cool and funny, and awesome. I didn't sleep a wink, so I slept the five hour drive home practically...

It seems like it was only yesterday I took the asvab and was writing about it on here! Yesterday my school did its asvab testing...I totally wanted to retake it, but I was warned that my score was so awesome last time and that the military always uses the lastest one...sooo. I didn't. I totally woulda gotten higher this time, but oh well...so I got to sit in a room alone doing novanet, computer schoolwork...in a dead quiet school. heheh.

I gotta reschedule going to Lansing for next week, cuz we're going skiing again thursday...so I gotta schedule around the school trip to Boyne...

My mister's having a birthday party at a friend's house this saturday...should be cool. Gotta find a rock for the girl whose house the party's hosted in. I've been giving rocks to help everybody's problems actually, alot, lately...

I got a job as a photographer at a used car lot! It's a really cool job, since I love taking pictures. And oddly enough, I didn't get this job because of the epic nature slideshows I made for my science teacher.

Also; only 4 1/2 credits til graduation!

On witchy notes; I can't hack MCS on top of the rest of my life right now. I'm uber busy. I cook dinner when I get home, and now I'm adding exercise onto my daily schedules to get in shape for the drills once a month to get fit BEFORE Basic Training. (Which, I wouldn't have even been able to use the sister school's gym at such a late hour if not for the good reason, and my school's reccommendation "She's kinda like our star student." The counselor said...I mean...REALLY o_o).

Weird...connection...to a friend. Discovered that I have empathy because of his attraction to me -- awkward way to discover an abillity where you feel other people's feelings, huh? I recently learned astral travel and, looking at everyone represented as energy, he was the only silver light among golds...and I dunno what it means...if anything.

Friend whose house is haunted, my witchy friend. Last visit we didn't do much regarding her basement issue. Did an anti-negativity spell with hilarious results. It mostly affected the room we did the spell in, overflow of positive energy. We couldn't stop laughing.
