My Threefold Spell
My Threefold Spell

So on Facebook I mentioned that I would be doing a Threefold Spell. Well what is it? READ ON!!!

The Threefold Spell is a spell I came up with that is pretty harmless. Not even a curse proper, more a magickal mirroring of intent. The materials you need are: a photo or name of the person (an object of theirs works here too, especially if it is important to them) salt, sage, and black pepper ground together into an incense; a fireproof bowl with a charcoal tab, a white and a black candle (or you normal god and goddess candles), a normal protective circle (basically just call all the elements), an athame, and a food or blood offering to the gods you call as well as a chalice of grape juice, wine, or spring water.

Cast the protective circle. Use the athame as you do, as it is the instrument of fire, and fire represents change and cutting ties (karmic or otherwise). Summoning your feelings for this peron and the thoughts of what they have done, light the black and white candles, calling on gods who represent what you want out of this. I usually choose Hecate (Goddess of Witchcraft and Wisdom) and Dionysus (God of Vengeance and Wine) for this, but you can use any gods you like. From there, light the charcoal tab and drop it in the fireproof bowl. It will spark and burn quickly, and though it looks gray it will be smouldering and VERY HOT. Drop the prepared incense on the dishlike divot on top of the charcoal, and the incense will begin to burn. Still holding the same intent as you did calling the gods, hold the photo/name/object in your hands and recite the following either once, thrice, or nine times:

In the name of the goddess

When the moon is round (if it is a new moon replace round with dark)

I weave this spell

May it stand true and sound.

In the Threefold Law

I do place my trust

Reflect on this person

E'en 'til they are dust.

Whatever evil they do

Whether in jest or true

May it reflect on them

Threefold too.

What lies they conjure

In jest or true

May it reflect onto them

Threefold too.

Three and three

and three make nine

May it hold true

And as fast as this rhyme.

This spell is best performed on either the dark moon or full moon. It is not complicated but it is not to be used lightly. After it has been cast, you should burn the photo or name and if it is an object throw it away or sell it at a pawn shop/thrift store. Thank the gods and elements for their part in the spell, and then cut ALL ties with this person. Delete their number from your phone book, mark their emails as spam, block them on all social networking sites, and if you have to delete people who are friends with that person. All, and I do mean ALL ties should be cut. Don't contact them at all. They are not your problem anymore and you should mentally put them in a little jar and shove it as far into the dusty corners of your brain as possible.

So there. Y'all have a spell AND a mundane lesson in this blog. I'm all about doing in the mundane what you do in the spiritual. Magick is not a failsafe, and nothing will happen if you don't intend on doing some change on the outside.

Blessings y'all! Will have another quickie spell later.
