On a good day, I do what I call walking in ritual.  That means I start my day with a shower where I chant to the Goddess and clear off the old, used up energy and wash it with the dirt down the drain.  I chant until I am in an altered space where the Goddess is very clearly walking beside me.

Then I do my candle ritual, lighting one for gratitude, one for healing, one for abundance, prosperity and too much joy to hold within it must be shared and then lighting candles for friends and loved ones who may be ill or need just that little something extra to help them through the day.  After I light the candles and ask the Goddess to honor my requests with a resounding Yes, I pull a tarot card for the day.  This will be my focus for the day.......whatever lesson comes to me from the Goddess Tarot deck.

After that, throughout the day, I chant and listen to Hawaiian music, which is very spiritual to me.  I think of the Goddess and all the reasons I have to be grateful, all the things I would like to see healed in myself and others, and pray for the joy that cannot be held within it must be shared.  Whenever I look at my candles, I pray again for the things I've asked for on the candles.

I touch the necklaces I wear, they are every one a Goddess necklace, and it reminds me how connected to Her I am, it helps ground me in the here and now, it reminds me I am not alone.  She is with me.

On a good day, I am aware of the Goddess beside and within me.  On a good day I can walk in ritual and make things better for myself and perhaps for others.

Today is a good day to walk in ritual.  I'm off to the shower.
