Witchcraft the Profession
Witchcraft the Profession
An interesting bit of world news -
As WITCHCRAFTS by Liorah Lleucu is a legitimate tax paying business registered with both the State and local governments here in the United States, Romania has taken the step of declaring witchcraft to be a legal profession (for the purpose of collecting taxes, of course).

Alright, it's very liable to abuse but it could be a way to validate those who actually make money off of the practice of Witchcraft (as a lot of us do). Just my two cents :)0 pointsWitchfire wrote 503 Days Ago (positive) 1witchcraft as a profession? That means that it's going to attract the wrong people for the wrong reasons, turning the real witches into a bunch of jokes! Way to go, Romania! Okay, it has it's pros and cons. I can see it as acting as a double-edge dagger, too. ~)O(~0 pointsKuroloki wrote 503 Days Ago (neutral) 0Hmm...I'm not even sure what to think of this. On one hand, the government is approving witchcraft rather than trying to stop it. On the other, how many witches consider witchcraft a profession...? That means I have two professions. That doesn't make sense. I can see the other jobs they listed as being actual professions, but as for the taxing, I have no idea how taxes in Romania work, so...I'm in no place to judge, probably.0 points
