This was sad for me to watch. But one must remember that while it doesnt FEEL like it sometimes, we, as a country, have come quite far in our view on this subject. Ironically. I remember being 15 in high school. Standing in line to offer to give blood. They pulled me aside and said that I didnt have to and came up with some bullshit remark as to why. But it was pretty obvious, the reasoning. And that wasnt that long ago at all. I dont think youd ever find that kind of thing in a public school, but I was in a private school at the time. Catholic school. So in that right, its easy to see how religion is still stopping the progression on the education of this subject. Pretty sad. But anyway...thank you for sharing this. It was a nice history lesson.
